Built from inside the work of leading schools.
School Systems Lab helps education leaders build, grow, and modernize stronger schools through practical systems, responsible AI, and field-tested growth strategy.
Good strategy has to survive a real school day.
School leaders are navigating rapid changes in technology, enrollment, family expectations, staffing, and learning models. The challenge is rarely a shortage of ideas; the harder work is turning them into clear ownership, usable routines, responsible decisions, and sustained practice.
School Systems Lab works at that intersection. The Lab connects executive strategy with the operating systems that shape what educators, students, and families actually experience.

Dr. Frances Bolaños
Dr. Frances Bolaños is an education executive who has built and led schools, not just advised them. She is a co-founder of Avant Garde Academy International, a Cognia-accredited virtual school serving grades 6-12 in the United States and Europe, and a co-founder of Avant Garde Academy of Broward, a public charter school. She also serves as chief operating officer of Leading Bright Scholars, an education management organization, and her leadership experience runs from early childhood programs through high school.
She created School Systems Lab to turn that operator experience into clear guidance, practical tools, executive advisory work, and candid content for leaders responsible for consequential decisions.
Clear enough to use. Strong enough to last.
The Lab is not an AI company and does not promote novelty for its own sake. Technology is one part of a larger leadership and operating system.
Start with the educational problem
Define what must improve before selecting a platform, tool, or intervention.
Keep human judgment visible
Use technology to strengthen evidence and coordination, not to replace professional authority.
Design for real capacity
Build routines that staff can understand, own, and sustain beyond launch.
Measure changes in practice
Look beyond activity to the student, family, leadership, and operating experience.
Bring the challenge your next stage requires you to solve.
For school founders and executive teams, the first conversation is about fit, scope, and the decision that needs to become clearer.
