ClearPath Attendance

ClearPath Attendance is for the teacher, counsellor or dean who is asked to do something about a student’s absences. It keeps the numbers honest, keeps the student’s and family’s side of the story next to them, and turns it into a support plan someone owns.

Keep the context with the numbers

• Set the window you’re looking at and reconcile enrolled, present and absent so the counts are right before anyone reacts to them.
• Record where the data came from, who checked it, what pattern you see, what the student does well, and what the evidence can’t tell you.
• Write down what the student said and what the family said, or the outreach you attempted, so the record is never only a spreadsheet.
• Build the support plan with an owner, a goal, how you’ll know it’s working, and a follow-up date.
• Import attendance from a CSV with a preview that shows you accepted, rejected, duplicate and corrected rows before anything is saved.
• Print an accessible packet, export an outreach list, and drop the follow-ups into your calendar.

A support planner, not a surveillance tool

Records stay encrypted on your computer. It doesn’t connect to your SIS, doesn’t send messages to anyone, and doesn’t infer why a child was absent. Official attendance and any legal notice stay in the school’s system of record where they belong.

What it won’t do: score risk, recommend a consequence or a tier, guess at causes, or escalate anything automatically. You verify, you reach out through the channels your school approves, and you decide.
